IT 210 Linux Administration

Introduces the student to the world of Linux. Explores how Linux servers are configured, including addressing, access control, and services. Shows both the command-line power of Linux as well as the way a graphical user interface has been incorporated into the environment. With Linux becoming a sizeable part of any IT environment, this class will complement the student’s understanding of IT environments and prepare the student for a career as a systems administrator. Successful completion of this course will prepare the student to sit for the Linux Pro certification as well as the CompTIA Linux + certification.
