Annual Vacations

International students can take their annual vacation semester after having been enrolled for two consecutive semesters full-time. If students do not have a minimum of 12 credits each semester, they will not be eligible to go on vacation. An annual vacation can only be taken if he student is eligible and intends to register for the next semester.  Vacations cannot be taken during the student’s final semester.  Students must complete the Annual Vacation Application online at BC International and receive approval before going on vacation.  Vacations should not be mistaken for in-between semester breaks. Those periods of time, such as Christmas break, are separate from annual vacations. 

An International student is prohibited from taking online classes while he/she is outside the US at any time.  An international student cannot enroll in online classes if he/she is leaving the US for his/her annual vacation semester.
