ID 128 Textiles

Covers the properties and characteristics of natural and synthetic textile fibers and fabrics, with emphasis on textile terminology used in the industry as well as common trade names. Includes the selection of appropriate textiles for various applications along with their maintenance. Students in the AAS program must earn a B- or higher in this course.  Students in the Certificate program must earn a C- or higher.  Any student not meeting the minimum grade(s) will be required to retake the course(s).  See the Repeating Courses policy. (Effective 2020-2021, this course will only be offered Winter and Spring)
