Any job in Information Technology is going to require a solid foundation of core knowledge. This certificate is designed to provide a foundation of the following technologies:

  • Networking fundamentals
  • Databases and how to query information
  • Windows Server basics, including Active Directory, Power Shell, etc.
  • Linux Administration
  • Cybersecurity Fundamentals

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of the certificate, successful graduates will be able to:

  • Design, configure, and query a relational database
  • Configure a peer-to-peer network
  • Demonstrate cybersecurity techniques including configuring proper security policies
  • Demonstrate how to install and configure a Domain Controller and Active Directory objects
  • Prepare and pass several industry certification exams

Graduation Requirements
