ACC 180 Accounting for Non-Accounting Majors

This course is an introduction to financial and managerial accounting. Students will be introduced to the basics of the accounting process to capture, record, report, analyze, and use in business decision making. Students will explore concepts like forms of business, risk, fraud, cash management, financial analysis, cost-volume-profit analysis, master budgeting, relevant costs, and the time value of money decisions. This course does not fulfill any major requirements for Accounting Majors.
