HR 160 Recruitment and Selection

Recruitment and Selection focuses on the knowledge and skills necessary for building a highly skilled workforce by using effective strategies and tactics for recruiting, selecting, hiring, and retaining employees. In this course, students will develop a variety of skills in areas such as workforce planning, building a high-performance culture, managing workplace conflict, and managing a diverse workforce. Students are strongly advised to take HR 140 and HR 160 together their first semester. These courses are both prerequisite to HR 225 and HR 225.
