HR 225 Training and Development

Students will learn and analyze the strategic value of training and development in an organization. Topics covered include needs assessment, learning theory, implementation and evaluation of training, career development, performance management, and leadership development. Students will also practice preparatory assessments for the aPHR certification exam. Students are advised to take HR 225 and HR 250 the same semester. Each course covers half of the aPHR exam prep content.
