BUS 480 Professional Leadership and Service Portfolio

Students will apply characteristics of professional service, leadership and trusted and capable disciples as informed by their missionary experience, the scriptures, the example of Jesus Christ, and the teachings and examples of modern prophets. They will create a missionary service portfolio illustrating core aspects of trusted and capable disciples and college-wide capabilities of teamwork and leadership, communication, technical skills, problem solving, and professionalism. Students will create a create a personal mission statement and plan for lifelong service to God and others. Students will address real life challenges as trusted and capable disciples.

Upon successful completion of the portfolio in BUS 480, students may receive 8 elective credits reflecting their prior learning.

*This course is available to any Latter-day Saint returned missionary who served least 9 months and received an honorable release.
