MAT 110 College Algebra
Prepares students for MAT 111, MAT 119, MAT 237, or MAT 252. College Algebra fulfills the Quantitative Literacy General Education requirement. Covers equations and their applications, inequalities, systems of equations, matrix analysis, partial fraction decomposition, conic sections, sequences, counting theory, probability, induction, and the binomial theorem. Also covers polynomial, rational, radical, logarithmic, and exponential functions and their graphs. (Can test out; see program chair.)
Prerequisite
MAT 104 with a B- or higher or appropriate placement score.
