MAT 111 Trigonometry
Prepares students for MAT 112. Trigonometry fulfills the Quantitative Literacy General Education requirement. The course introduces students to trigonometric functions, including right triangle and unit circle definitions, properties, and graphs. Students will learn about the Law of Sines and Law of Cosines, inverse trig functions, and trig identities. Students will learn to solve trigonometric equations, and will be introduced to vectors, polar coordinates, and parametric functions.
Prerequisite
MAT 110 with a C- or higher or appropriate placement score.
