MAT 237 Discrete Mathematics

Covers the basic principles of discrete mathematics, preparing students for further study in the computer sciences and other STEM fields. Students will learn the principles of functions and relations, set theory, counting principles, and discrete probability. Graph theory (including trees) will also be covered, as well as basic proof techniques, and an introduction to logic.
