MCO 190 Intro to Medical Reimbursement

Introduces students to the front office aspects of medical billing and coding, to prepare them for employment in a billing, coding, or clinical office setting. Topics include: professionalism, law and ethics – including HIPAA, medical billing and reimbursement, patient chart documentation, communication skills (verbal & written), resumes, and job interviewing skills.
