DCC 240 Photography

Students will build a strong foundation in graphic design principles and elements, including layout, textures, typography, color theory, composition, and vector illustration. Students will also master the basics of using Adobe Illustrator for creating professional artwork and designs that effectively communicate a brand’s identity. By the end of the course, students will produce powerful portfolio pieces that will assist them in their career aspirations, including the creation of visually appealing social media posts, animated graphics, and an effective website landing page. Additional topics during the course include design research, mood boards, branding, tone, wireframes, and publishing for print.
