Overview

A certificate in Computer Science prepares students for continued education by building the foundations of Computer Science.  Students learn intermediate programming, databases, web development, and theory.

Career Opportunities

The career opportunities for a student with a certificate in Computer Science exist mostly within entry level positions in software publishing firms, scientific research and development organizations, and in education.  Advancement opportunities in Computer Science increase with experience.
