BUS 295 Business Strategy Fundamentals

Explores strategic business management and the development and securing of a sustained competitive advantage for a business entity. Considers intended vs. emergent strategies, strategic thinking, internal and external analysis with strategic framework such as VRIO and Porter’s 5 Forces. Students will consult with real business clients in analyzing strategic plans and challenges, applying skills and concepts taught, and proposing actionable solutions in a formal presentation to the client. They will craft a business strategic plan and personal life strategic plan.
