MCO 180 Introduction to Medical Billing and Coding

This course is an introduction to subjects that will form the basis for Body Systems and Medical Coding courses, which are to follow.  Topics include an overview of body structures, the organization of body systems, introduction to CPT (procedures), ICD-10-CM (diagnoses), and HCPCS coding, as well as a brief introduction to the Revenue Cycle and how it affects the payment of services involved in the medical industry
